Sean Kingston dominated the top charts worldwide in 2007, namely, Canadian Hot 100, EURO 200 Singles Chart, U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart to name a few. Although born in Florida, he spent most of his childhood life in Jamaica and that is the reason why his music has a reggae touch to it. He also pays tribute to where he grew up, Kingston, Jamaica, thus, the pseudonym (his real name is Kisean Anderson). Due to his popularity, he did some guest appearances and opening acts for some of the veterans in the music industry such as Gwen Stefani and Fergie. Teens have been fascinated by him and it was proven during last year’s Teen Choice Awards when he won the R&B track of the year for the song “Beautiful Girls”.
